Wedding Invites

These are the wedding invites I'm doing for my little sister.

She bought the basic cards with the love heart sweet on. I'm making shaker frames with a quilled mouse and an embossed mouse on the back. All fit with her themes.

More Christmas cards

I made a big batch of cards last week with the Smirk Christmas kit.

The kit was only £10 and I've not used much at all.

They are all very simple as the backing papers are very decorative.

The remaining papers are simple so I can do some stamping and more elaborate cards.

Painting for my Sister

I painted this picture for my Sisters Christmas present with acrylics - they were her 3 dogs who passed away. I distressed a plain pine box frame and added decorative quilling to the mount.

Christmas Crafting

I've had the day at home with my daughter as my husband had to go back to work at the airport today to help with the Pope leaving. We did two craft projects.

We made 10 little pots of chocolate lip balm. They need decorating, but my daughter has already decided one is hers. The kit was from http:\\bathbomb.biz and was very easy to use. There are enough raw ingredients to make a few more, just need to get some more pots to put it in.

We also made 24 little Christmas tree ornaments, again from a kit. This time from create and craft. They were nice and simple for daughter to do. I just cut the pipe cleaners and made the loops for her and she did the rest. They look very sweet too, will be nice on a tree.

Iris folding

This week I've done some iris folding from a kit I bought a little while ago. While I like the effect of the folding I don't like the expanse of white on the front. Not sure what I will do - would have been easier to do something before I stuck all the folding but what fun is easy :) ?

Quilled Chess Set

I've made my first Christmas present - a quilled chess set. With the base made from chip board. This is for my Dad

First Cristmas cards of 2010

So I made my first Christmas cards. They were made with some Dufex topers I bought in the sales last year.
